MogaDao is an original tradition of graceful, medicinal, and ensouling qigong, spiritualized asana, and somatic meditation, created by Zhenevere Sophia Dao, based on a radical faith in the mythopoetic and archetypal power of somatic experience.
The three somatic technés or practices of MogaDao Qigong, MogaDao Yoga, and MogaDao Meditation represent dynamic sacred architectures of human potential, nourishing and informing the fields of trauma, imagination and vitality, essence and transformation, ritual and cosmology, and sexuality. These techné are supported by the broad-ranging and novel philosophy of Post-Daoism, originated by Zhen Dao.
The MogaDao teachings are founded on the faith that “the body is a work of the imagination, that it is possible to fill the body with soul and sensibility, and that through the devoted study of the sacred physical practices of yoga and qigong, through deep meditation, and through the study of post-Daoist philosophy, to become more human… meaning awake and careful, capable of compassion and spontaneous creative passion…”
